It was only a while ago that Rockstar released the first GTA IV trailer, and rumour mills have been in full production ever since. Even I made a post about what I thought about the trailer, and what the trailer showed us in terms of what we are going to see in Grand Theft Auto IV. And now Game Informer is has just brought out 10 page exclusive preview of GTA IV with a lot of interesting information.
As of now(post time), I haven’t been able to find a fully scanned article from the magazine. But we do know quite a few things already. The player character is the one in the intro, and his name is Niko Bellic. There will be multiplayer, proper multiplayer this time around. The game area is confined to just one city, so there will be no need for airplanes. Also, we’ll finally get a cellphone that can be controlled/used by the player.

No airplanes? I’m already wary about this… Just one city as well? It best be a damn big city.

Hey there, thanks for reading my site and spreading the pictures. Looks like it’ll be quite the game for 360 and PS3. I don’t mind the no airplanes part, I doubt the city will get boring quick
As a matter of fact I actually hated planes in San Andreas, or at least when they were used in missions, one of the most annoying missions ever featured airplanes.
But yeah, looks like I’ll have to get either the 360 or the PS3, even though I sort of want the Wii, but can’t really afford to get them all =\
