Religious People Are Nucking Futs
Or maybe it’s just their leaders. Usually I try to stay away from anything that might sound even the tiniest bit like a religion debate, but this one really takes the cake. Roger Smith Hotel the location where an art exhibit was to take place, featuring a 200 pound milk chocolate sculpture of Jesus Christ, have cancelled the said exhibit.
Their reasoning? “In this situation, the hotel couldn’t continue to be supportive because of a fear for their own safety.” What the hell is this, are we back into the Dark Ages, are we going to burn some witches? But that isn’t all, I have another great quote. This one is from Bill Donohue, head of the watchdog Catholic League. “One of the worst assaults on Christian sensibilities ever.”
I’m not even sure if we are both looking at the same thing here. How can something like this be one of the worst assaults on Christian sensibilities? Are these people permanently drugged up? It’s an art exhibit, it’s supposed to provoke you to think. Calling this a crime of highest magnitude against the Christians just because the statue is made out of an unconventional material is really taking things too far. It shames me that I must share this planet with such lunatics.
1 commentThoughts on the GTA IV Trailer
For those of you who still don’t know, first GTA IV(Grand Theft Auto 4) trailer was released yesterday during the night by Rockstar Games. I only got around to watching it earlier today, and have since then re-watched it a few times, just to make sure I didn’t miss anything.
So what’s new in store for us? Quite a lot actually. The trailer is not pre-rendered, that is indeed how good the RAGE engine looks like under 720p on a next generation console(xbox 360/playstation 3). A great improvement over the old RenderWare engines.

It looks like the game will take place in Liberty City as well, with the possibility of there being multiple cities. Another cool thing I suppose is the introduction of Russians/Eastern Europeans into the mix, and even possibly, the main character being one himself, but this can’t really be confirmed or denied by just this trailer.
Overall I must say that I’m quite impressed, even if the trailer is quite short and doesn’t show any action. The question though is, should we get a next generation console or wait till it comes out for the PC. But if history is anything to go by, we could end up waiting a year or longer till it finally arrives on the PC.
1 commentMost Popular WordPress Plugins
An update for all the budding bloggers out there who use wordpress as their blogging platform. Stasys from staska.net has posted a list of top 30 wordpress plugins, and generally I couldn’t agree more with the list. Some of those plugins are really must haves for every wordpress user.

This blog uses nine of the top 30 plugins, and I’ll be adding a few more from the list over the next days as well. So if you’re thinking about starting a blog, or already have, be sure to head over to staska.net and have a look at the list.
1 commentBourne Ultimatum Trailer!
What a slow day it has been today. Not much interesting going on really, short of the usual boring things. Just as I thought that the day had been lost, and nothing exciting would come around, the first Bourne Ultimatum trailer is posted on the internet.

You can check out the trailer at First Showing. Looks quite interesting actually, should really buy the first two on DVD as well. That is, when I’m done with watching everything else.
